Attention Seekers of Truth, Meaning, Peace, and Enlightenment

Have you ever contemplated the cause of the universe beyond simply attributing it to God or The Big Bang? If so, have you ever entertained the idea that the universe is but a dream? Which is to say, have you ever considered that the cause of the universe is that you dreamt it up? At first glance, the idea that you dreamt up the universe perhaps seems implausible. However, what if you really took that idea seriously and followed it to its logical conclusion? What would you discover?

Well, I have followed that idea to its logical conclusion. I personally spent many years looking deeply into science, religion, and alternative spirituality for logically consistent answers to the big questions of life and existence. And just when I was about to give up hope, the answers all started coming together when I started thinking of the universe as being like a dream.

Consequently, to save you the aggravation of doing a whole lot of seeking and not really finding yourself, I’ve recorded what I found into a book. But the book I created is not just any book, it is a comic book. The title of the book is, “The Universe Is a Dream: The Secrets of Existence Revealed.” As someone who was tired of wading through thick books full of just text, I made it a point to put forth the extra effort to consolidate everything I discovered into something more entertaining than just a normal text-filled book.

“The Universe Is a Dream” takes you on an artistic, humorous, irreverent, and extremely informative romp through the advanced, nondualistic metaphysics of the contemporary spiritual document known as A Course in Miracles. In the end, you’ll not only have a coherent picture of the true nature of the universe and existence, but you’ll also have essential, practical knowledge of what you’ll need to do if you are ready to wake up. However, be forewarned that if you expect this book to prove to you that the universe is a dream, you’ll be disappointed. The only way to prove a dream is a dream is to wake up. Therefore, although the book provides the hypothesis and the parameters of the experiment to prove that the universe is a dream, you’ll have to be willing to do the experiment yourself. Consequently, if you refuse to do the experiment, you’ll probably hate the book and all irony of your hate for the book will be lost to you. But if you embrace the book’s logically consistent message of peace and are thus willing to do the experiment–which you’ll find is an experiment of uncompromising forgiveness–you’ll love it.

“The Universe Is a Dream” has already helped many people all over the world find answers to the big questions of life and existence. The book has been so valuable to many people that it has been translated into numerous languages.

Yes, to get the book will cost you a little bit of money, but it could easily be one of the most important and valuable purchases you ever make. And if you decide you didn’t find the book valuable, you can always return it to the store for a refund. But, in my experience, the only people who ever don’t like the book are people with closed minds (committed to a contrary view of things in which the universe is real and not a dream), people with serious mental issues, no sense of humor, and or people who are just plain dumb (lol).

So, as long as you aren’t closed-minded, aren’t mentally ill, don’t have a stick up your butt, or aren’t dumb, don’t hesitate to get this book. Every day you don’t have this book is a day you could have spent awakening from the dream.

Where to Buy the Book

The book is available (as of 9/30/10) internationally at most major online bookstores, like Amazon, Amazon UK, Barnes & Noble, Amazon Canada, Amazon.de, Amazon Japan, and so on. If a site says the book is out of stock or something, ignore it and try to order it anyway, because they just need to realize that they have it. You can special order the book from most physical bookstores, but for the time being you won’t find the book on the shelves…except in rare circumstances of super-cool bookstores. If you live in a place without its own Amazon or without some other large online bookstore that stocks The Universe Is a Dream, then a good place to shop is The Book Depository. They are located in Guernsey and have free worldwide shipping (shipping included in the book price). And finally if you would like the book as an ebook, it is available from Amazon US, Amazon UK and Amazon.de. An epub book fit for the Nook and most other ereaders is available here at Barnes and Noble. The ebook is broken up into individual comic frames making it fit for small screens like Kindle, Nook, iphone.

Translated Editions

A Portuguese version is available (August 2011) O universo é um sonho. A Spanish version is available (March 2012) El Universo es un sueño. A Finnish version is available (March 2012) Universumi on Unta. A Korean version is available (December 2012) go here for details. A German edition is available. Japanese is available (go here). And Polish is coming by 2017. If you are seriously interested in publishing (not just translating) the book in another language please contact.

Humor and Culture
The book contains a plethora of subtle jokes, some of which are a bit risqué to help make a point. Many of the jokes are based on English puns and references to American pop-culture. Readers who aren’t entrenched in American pop-culture will likely not pick up on many of those jokes and references, but that doesn’t really matter. The main content of the book stands on its own feet. The jokes and references just add an extra dimension of interest and meaning (without detouring from the pace of the book) for readers with the background to pick up on them. Clues exist that make it so that a simple Google search will often help reveal the meaning behind many of the book’s subtle references.

The Universe Is a Dream and The Universe Is Virtual are both for sale as video/audio books. Since my books are both pictures and words, the regular audiobook format wouldn’t do them justice. Instead, I chose to make video/audio books. These video/audio books include both a video and an audio mp3 file. The video is essentially a high definition frame by frame read along of the books as read by me. And the mp3 audio files are just the audio from the video for listening when viewing is not possible (such as while driving). The Universe Is a Dream is read in my normal voice and The Universe Is Virtual, since I take an abstract digital form in that book, is read in my digitized “virtual” voice…similar to the voice I used in my short film Binary Erasure. Buy the books individually for $16.99 a piece or get both for $29.99. The books are unabridged in video form (since all the information is there visually) and only slightly abridged in audio form. The video is available streaming or downloaded. The Universe Is a Dream runs three hours and five minutes and The Universe Is Virtual runs two hours and thirty four minutes. Watch the previews of the video/audio books below to see exactly what you’ll be getting.
